Step 1: Surface Repair and Diamond Grinding
The transformation starts with the step most installers rush: mechanical diamond grinding.
We used our industrial grinders with HEPA dust extraction to remove the top layer of the concrete, open the pores, and create a permanent mechanical profile for adhesion. This is the step that prevents peeling and hot-tire pickup — the exact failure point for DIY kits and discount installers.
Why this matters:
If the prep isn’t right, nothing else matters. Grinding is the difference between a 1–2 year floor and a 10–20+ year system.
Step 2: Moisture-Map™ Testing
